Workshop Levels

L2 Newcomer (No WSDC points)

If you are just starting out with West Coast Swing, this level is for you. You might know some basic steps and moves, but you may not feel totally comfortable on the dance floor yet. The class will be taught at a slow to medium pace, and you will learn more techniques and patterns to improve your skills.

L4 Intermediate (WSDC Intermediate points ONLY)

If you have already earned WSDC Intermediate points, this level is for you. The class will focus on more complex patterns and techniques to help you prepare for the next level. The class will be taught at a fast pace.

L3 Novice (WSDC Novice points)

 If you have some experience with West Coast Swing, this level is for you. You should be comfortable with the music and rhythm, and have experience with both workshops and social dancing. In this level, you will learn spinning and extension patterns, as well as more advanced lead and follow techniques, styling, and how to interpret the music. The class will be taught at a medium pace.

Advanced/Allstar (WSDC Advanced/Allstar ONLY)

This level is for experienced West Coast Swing dancers who have earned WSDC Advanced or Allstar points. The workshops will cover the most difficult techniques and concepts, and the class will be taught at a fast and demanding pace.
